Intelematics has been developing localised data driven solutions for the transport industry for two decades.

Now, with the Internet of Things providing greater vehicle connectivity, Intelematics has developed ground-breaking and potentially life-saving connected vehicle technology that automatically unites a vehicle and its occupants with help in the event of an incident.

eCall is a system that enables a vehicle to automatically place a call for help if it is involved in an accident, even if the occupants are trapped or unconscious.

Using geolocation technology and sensors within the car, trained staff can access critical information, such as the vehicle’s exact location, and the speed and direction of travel. The solution also allows the driver to press an ‘SOS’ button in the vehicle should they need the assistance of emergency services.

Two thirds of fatalities on Australian roads occur in regional and remote areas – and involve a single vehicle. eCall’s geolocation capability supports emergency services in these circumstances.  From the outset, Intelematics has been committed to building a solution that has a meaningful impact on serious injury and death on Australian roads. The implementation of eCall in Australia has the potential to save 150 to 200 lives and prevent 2,500 profound injuries each year.

The Asure technology platform is compatible and easily integrated into any vehicle manufacturer platform in any part of the world. The design allows it to be applied to a vast array of vehicle and propulsion types including passenger, light, heavy, EV, hydrogen, petrol, hybrid and diesel.
